Zoho Cliq Mini provides quick access to My Pins, Chats, Channels, Threads, and People while you work in other Zoho applications. This helps you collaborate without breaking your flow or switching between apps.

Note: Quick Chat is now called Cliq Mini. If you see references to Quick Chat or Smart Chat or Chat Bar anywhere in the knowledge base, they refer to Cliq Mini.

How to open Cliq Mini? 

• You can click on the options in Cliq Mini to open it within any Zoho application.

• Alternatively, you can use control + space in any Zoho application to open Cliq Mini's search bar.

Note:

• The control + space shortcut may not work in some Zoho applications if the key combination is already assigned to another action.

• In Zoho Sheet, control + space selects an entire column so the shortcut will not work in Zoho Sheet.

• In Zoho Writer, the shortcut will not work if the text cursor is active.
  

How does the search work in Cliq Mini? 

• The search bar lets you search based on People, Channels and Messages, Chats, Bots, Threads and Pins just like in Cliq Web.
  

• You also have the option to search and view mentions and starred messages right from Cliq Mini.
  

• Cliq Mini also supports advanced search in the search bar.

What are the available tabs in Cliq Mini? 

Cliq Mini includes five tabs that let you stay connected without leaving your current application: My Pins, Chats, Channels, Threads, and People.

My Pins 

• All your pins will be listed here.

• The unread pins will be displayed under the Unread tab. There is a separate Unread section for all tabs in Cliq Mini.

Chats 

• Your most recent and unread chats will be displayed in the Chats tab.

Channels 

• All your channels will be listed in this tab.

• The most recently active channels will be listed at the top but you can sort it based on alphabetical order or list out all the channels together.

• You can select a team or a channel type and Cliq Mini will take you there instantly.

Threads 

• All your threads will be listed here based on recent activity.

People 

• All the people that you have messaged will be listed here.

• You can sort them based on recency or frequency.

• Recent section will display the people based on the last message time.

• Frequents section will list people based on the frequency of the messages sent along with their status.

Note: You have the option to maximize and minimize Cliq Mini near the header.

What are the available options in a chat window? 

• You can perform various actions in a chat window in Cliq Mini.

• Some options will vary between threads, channels and chats,

• You can initiate an audio call, video call and share screen right within Cliq Mini.

• Start and schedule meetings without switching apps.

• You can also minimize, enlarge, and close the chat window.

• Perform message actions right within Cliq Mini by clicking on the three dots on a message.

What are the available Quick Actions in Cliq Mini? 

• You can access Quick Actions by clicking on the + icon.

• You can perform these Quick Actions in Cliq Mini:

- Send a Direct Message
- Start a Group Conversation
- Create a Channel
- Invite People
- Make a Call
- Meet Now (Audio Meeting and Video Meeting)
- Schedule Meeting
- Schedule Live Event

How to access settings in Cliq Mini? 

• Click on the header to access settings in Cliq Mini.

• You can check in and check out and change your status in Cliq Mini.

• You can modify General Settings, Notification Settings, Read Receipts, Last Seen, Language Translation, Configure Privacy For Zoho Links and, Emoji Reactions For Messages.

Note: Enabling pause chat here will disable Cliq Mini in that specific Zoho application. You can click on Click to unpause in the footer to enable Cliq Mini again.
