Lucidchart

You can integrate Lucidchart with Cliq and bring your collaboration on documents related to diagrams and flow charts inside Cliq.

Installation 

  1. Go to Zoho Cliq marketplace and search for "Lucidchart" or click the following link.

Create a connection 
Once the Lucidchart extension gets installed, you can create a connection with your account to access your documents in Cliq. To create a connection, do the following:
  1. Go to Bots & Tools and select Connections.
  1. Search for the Lucidchart extension and select Allow access.
  1. You will be redirected to the Lucidchart website. Enter the credentials of your associated Lucidchart account.
  1. Once your authentication is successful, select Take me to Cliq.

Lucidchart bot 

You will receive a bot message posted on the Lucidchart bot upon successful installation. There are two bot actions present in the Lucidchart bot: Document and Help.

Document

A list of all the documents associated with your account will be displayed in the form of a tabular column. You can view the document name, creator, what access level you have to a particular document, and the status of the document.

By selecting the View button in the collaborators column, you will be able to view all the collaborators in the document.

There are two actions available if you have access.
  • Edit - You can edit the access level of the document.
  • Revoke - You can revoke the document of the user.

Help

The Help bot action helps the user to explore how to use Lucidchart by providing template cases. The following options are available when selecting the Help bot action.
  • Get started
    A link to a one-minute video will be provided, which will help you learn the basics of using Lucidcharts.
  • Tutorials
    Here you will be able to access links to the materials on how to use Lucidchart.
     

  • Teams and collaboration
    You will be provided with an overview on what real-time collaboration and collaboration cursors mean in Lucidchart.

  • Diagramming
    Here, you will be able to view how to explore diagrams and tutorial guides, as well as how to access pre-built templates.

Lucidchart widget 

With the Lucidchart widget, you can view all your documents from Lucidchart inside Cliq.

There are four tabs available in the widget:
  •  My documents  - A list of all your folders and documents will be displayed. You will be able to perform the following actions to the documents.

  • Mark as favorite icon (start icon) - You can mark a document as favoriteto display it in your Favorites tab.
  • More info - You can view more information on the particular document, such as who created it, the access level, the last user to modify it, the date and time, and the status of the document.
  • View - Using the iframe, an embedded URL of the document will be provided, through which you will be able to view the document inside Cliq.
  • Open in new tab - This will open the document in a new tab inside the Lucidchart website.
  • View collaborators - You can view the list of collaborators for a document. If you are the document owner, you can edit the access level and revoke access to other users.

Note:
  1. The user's Cliq email address and their Lucidchart email address must match in order to add a new collaborator to a document in Cliq. They also need to be on the same Lucid team.
  2. If an external user who is not part of the Lucid team is added as a collaborator, then they will be displayed as an External user, and their name will not be displayed.

  • Delete - You can delete a document inside Cliq if you are the document owner.
  • Favorites  - All the documents that you have marked as favorite are displayed here.

Note:

  • You can select Remove from favourites to remove a document from the Favourites tab in addition to the actions that can be performed.

  • Shared with me  - List of documents that have been shared with you is displayed here.
  • Help  - A guide on what actions you can perform using the Lucidchart integration with Cliq is provided. You will also have information on user roles and access levels. By selecting the View plans and pricing button, you will be navigated to the Lucidchart pricing page.

Lucidchart slash command 

You can use "/exportdocument" slash command on any channel or chat to instantly send documents in the form of jpeg or png format. To do so:
  1. Go to the channel or chat and enter /exportdocument in the text area.
  2. A form will appear on what document you want to export. Select the document name, the page, and the format, and click Export.
An image will be posted on the channel or chat.
