What is a Cliq network and how to set it up?
Cliq network is a dedicated space to collaborate with your external business stakeholders such as partners, vendors, agencies, consultants, volunteers and more. It equips you with an extensive set of configurable permissions to facilitate controlled secure and full-fledged external collaboration.
Pre-requisites:
To create a Cliq network, you need to have an existing Cliq organization.
Who can create a Cliq Network?
Admins or users with admin roles, in the Cliq business organization, can create Cliq Networks.
Follow the below steps to set up your Cliq network:
- Create a Cliq network from the Cliq organization's admin panel.
- Navigate to Admin Panel > Network -Network Info. Enter your network-related information, such as your network's contact information, address information, and regional information.
- Head to Admin Panel > Customization. Set up Themes, Assets, Custom Domain and Emailers
- Go to Configurations and configure feature-related settings to manage how you want your network to connect, communicate and collaborate.
- Navigate to Permission > Policies. Enable policies as per your network's preferences
- Navigate to Permission > Roles. Add Roles
- Navigate to Users & Profile. Create teams, departments, and designations
- Navigate to Customization > User fields. Edit user field layout for Web iOS Android and customize user field as per your network's preferences
- Add members to your Cliq network by sending a network join invite link or by adding users in the Users & Profiles
- Delegate admin privileges to a few members to manage the network
- Add the users who joined via the network join link to their respective roles, designation, department and team.
- Create public teams, channels and group chats to collaborate.
- Navigate to the marketplace and install applications your network members use in their day-to-day workflow
Note: The user and the created network should be in the same DC to join a network.
