Here are some ways by which you can initiate an Audio / Video Meeting in Cliq
Initiating Audio / Video Meeting from a channel (Channel Meeting)
- Click on Start Meeting
- Enter the Topic of your meeting. (By default current date and your channel name will be taken as the Topic. However, you can edit and rename it as per your preference)
- The person who initiates the meeting will by default be the host of the meeting
- Add Co-hosts
- Add Speakers
- Select your preferred mode of conversation
- Click on the Recording toggle to enable recording
- Click on the Permissions and set permissions according to your requirement
- Click on Save & Next
- Manage audio and video settings
- Click on Start Meeting
You can also initiate Audio / Video Meeting via Chats/Channels/Adhoc Chat / Threads by following the above mentioned process.
Note: All the users of the channel in which the meeting is initiated will be the participants of the meeting.
Initiating Audio / Video Meeting via Quick action icon ( Instant meeting)
- Click on the Quick action icon
- Scroll to Meet Now
- Select your preferred mode of conversation for the meeting.
Once you initiate the call via quick action you will instantly be navigated to the meeting screen. You can further edit the title of the meeting by clicking on the existing default title
Invite participants
Click on the invite participant button present in the bottom menu
You can invite participants in the following ways:
- Send invitation to the participants via mail
- Click on the plus icon and Invite users
- Click on Copy Invitation and share it with the members in your organization
- Enable "Allow external users to join using this link" then click on "Copy Invitation" and share it with external users to invite them to the meeting.
Note: All the actions in a group call can be performed from instant meeting too
Initiating Audio / Video Meeting via Remote Work module ( Remote meeting)
- Navigate to Remote Work
- Click on the dropdown next to Meet Now
- Select your preferred type of meeting
- You will now be instantly navigated to the meeting screen similar to that of instant meeting
- To edit the title of the meeting click on the existing default title
Invite participants
Click on the Add participant button present in the bottom menu
You can invite participants in the following ways:
- Send invitation to the participants via mail
- Click on the plus icon and Invite users
- Click on Copy Invitation and share it with the members in your organization
- Enable "Allow external users to join using this link" then click on "Copy Invitation" and share it with external users to invite them to the meeting.
- All the actions in a group call can be performed from remote meeting too
Initiating Group Audio / Video Meeting from History
- Click on the History section from the navigation sidebar
- Select Meetings
- Click on the Start again option made available in the right hand side of your pre-initiated meetings
- Rename your Meeting, if required.
- The participants in your pre-initiated meeting will by default be the current participants of your meeting
- The person who initiates the meeting will by default be the host of the meeting
- Add Co-hosts
- Add Speakers
- Select your preferred mode of conversation
- Click on the Recording toggle to enable recording
- Click on the Permissions and set permissions according to your requirement
- Click on Next
- Manage audio and video settings
- Click on Start Meeting
