What are personal channels in Cliq?

Personal channels are for informal conversations among colleagues or friends who share a common interest. You can create personal channels to chat with your lunch gang, plan a trip with friends or have private conversations with a specific group of people.
Since the search does not list personal channels, only the creator and channel members can add participants to the channel.

To check your personal channels, click Channels in the left sidebar.
Notes
Admin Note:
You can set up your channel with permissions to determine who can send messages, edit information, add or remove participants, and more. If you are an admin, you can make these changes. You can also choose whether to give permissions to an admin, a moderator, or a member.
To give permissions and configure settings:
  1. Click the Channel icon.
  2. Under Permissions, you will find Configuration and Permissions.
  3. Select the changes you need to make.
  4. The changes will be applied immediately.

Consider the following example:
#Homies is a personal channel created by a group of friends who hang out after work, go shopping, and have dinner together. It's a discussion room to talk about restaurants, food, and shared interests.
