What are team channels in Cliq?

Team channels help streamline collaboration within a team or across multiple teams. These channels are used by team members to discuss ideas, carry out day-to-day tasks, and set up meetings. You can create team channels for your company's different products or services, or for various departments such as #marketing, #development, and #sales.

If a channel is open to all users, any team member can find and join it at any time. If it's a closed channel, they'll need an invite.

To check your team channels, click Channels in the left sidebar. If a member belongs to more than one team channel, then the channel is listed under the team.
Notes
Admin Note:
You can set up your channel with permissions to determine who can send messages, edit information, add or remove participants, and more. If you are an admin, you have access to make these changes. You can also choose whether to give permissions to an admin, a moderator, or a member.
To give permissions and configure settings:
  1. Click the Channel icon.
  2. Under Permissions, you will find Configuration and Permissions.
  3. Select the changes you need to make.
  4. The changes will be applied immediately.
Consider the following example:
Zylker's analytics team has a team channel #Zylker Website. Here, the team members discuss various marketing plans and ideas for the website. They also keep each other updated on weekly progress, share links to important documents, and conduct meetings. The channel is under the @Zylker Analytics team.
