Options in Cliq audio calls

Audio calls are an excellent approach to communicating with people in real-time.
Here are a few things you should know about Cliq calls:
  1. The audio call notification is draggable, so it can be moved to any comfortable location on the screen.
  2. On audio calls, your Cliq status will change to On a Cliq call.
  3. When making an audio call, you have four options:
  • Mute/Unmute icon: This will allow you to mute or unmute your audio call.
Note:
  • When a user who is on mute tries to speak in a call/meeting, Cliq's speech detection feature prompts them with the message "Please unmute and speak [Option + A]" to let them know that the microphone is muted and needs to be unmuted.
  • A user can choose to enable/disable the notification fromCliq to start talking when the mic is on mute. This option along with a toggle button is available in the User Panel -> Profile & Settings -> Calls & Meetings -> Personal Configurations.

  • End call icon: You can select this red end call icon to end your audio call.
  • Share icon: You can use this to start screen share or whiteboard.
  • Dotted icon: You can select this for more options. The available options for this menu are Device Settings (To change microphone settings), Share video (To switch to video call), Open chat (To chat or post in conversation during the call), Notes (To make notes during the call), and Add users (To add other users to the audio call).

Note:

  • If you add a user to an existing audio call, the call changes into a group call.

 

Tip: 

  1. If you receive a regular mobile call while on a Cliq call through the mobile app, you can switch between calls.
