The Chat Window

Users can interact with other Cliq users in real-time using the Chat Window. It includes a variety of actions that can be used to make communication more effective and engaging.
Let's look into each option:
  1. Info- In the chat header of the window you will find information about the user such as Contact ImageContact Name, and Status. To gain additional information, click the Channel image.
  2. The Search icon - It opens up a search bar where you can look for anything related to the user's chat using keywords.
  3. The Call icon - You can use this option to start an audio and video call, as well as a screen share.
  4. Notification icon - Mute the user's conversations for 1 hour, 8 hours, 1 day, 1 week, or forever.
  5. Close chat window icon - It closes the chat window from your screen.
  6. Star messages icon - You can star important messages to bookmark/save them for future references.
  7. Message actions - When you hover over a message, you'll see a list of six possible actions for that message.
  • The first three icons are Thumbs upSuper, and Heavy plus sign. These quick emoji icons are default, but you can customize them.
  • The fourth icon is the Reactions icon, which allows you to respond to a message with emojis. Zomojis, Emojis, Live Zomojis, and Custom Emojis can all be sent.
  • The Reply icon is the fifth icon, which is an arrow pointing left. You can send a new message that includes a reference to the selected message.
  • The kebab menu is the last icon, which features three dots. A list of options will appear which will help you perform actions like Select,Forward, Copy, Fork from here, Set Reminder, Mark as Unread, Copy Message URL, Pin Message and More.
Note:
The Edit and Delete option will appear only for recent messages. The time limit for editing and deleting a message depends on the configuration settings by your admin and can range from 1 minute to 60 days. 
  1. Attachments icon - You can send attachments in the form of Code Snippets, and Whiteboards. You can also Attach from cloud or Upload from computer.
  2. Text-box area - Space for typing your message.
  3. Actions menu - Print, Pin Conversation, Schedule Meeting, Set a Reminder, Turn off History, View Media, and Chats in Common are the actions available.
  4. Voice recorder icon - This option is similar to that of the call icon where you can audio, video call as well as share screen.
  5. Emojis icon - The last icon in the chat window is where you can send emojis in the chat. You have options like Live Zomojis, Zomojis, Emojis, GIF, Custom Emojis, and Custom Stickers.
