Organization module in Cliq provides you an insight of the people and teams in your organization to enhance user management. To access the organization section in Cliq, navigate to Cliq's navigation panel and click on the ORG icon.
In the organization module, you will be able to see two sections:
People
Teams
People
The people section in the Cliq navigation sidebar provides information about all the users in your organization. You can selectively choose to view the users in the provided categorizations
All Users: All the users in your organization are displayed.
My Department: All your co-workers in your department are displayed.
My Direct Reports: All the employees reporting to you are displayed here.
Actions
You can see that the people of your organization are displayed in card view. To perform the following actions, hover over the card, you will see options to perform audio/video calls. Clicking on the chat button will help you to chat with that user and you can view their profile details by clicking on the info (i) button.
Search
Search for a person by entering their name or their email address in the search bar made available at the top of the people tab.
Teams
All your team level channels will be listed here. Click on the search icon, to search the team you are looking for. Clicking on the team will display three tabs:
- Users
- Channels
- Settings
Users
The Users tab will show all the users and their email-id in the selected team.
Actions
You can search a user by their name or email-id via the search bar made available in the user tab.
Channels
The channel tab has the following information: Channel Name, Created by, Last Active Time.
Actions that you can perform in Channels
- Create Team Channel: Click on the Create Team Channel to create a team channel
- Enter Channel Image & Name
- Select your Teams
- Choose a preferred visibility for the team members by toggling the button in visibility
- Add Participants
- Enter Channel Description
Click on Advanced and set the required permission for the channel you are creating then click Save.
Once have saved the permissions you have set, Click on Create Channel.
Settings
Via settings tab, you can upload the team profile image by clicking on the camera icon, name your team and enter the description for your teams in the description box
