Arattai

Arattai is a free, cross-platform messaging service. It allows users to send text and voice messages, make audio and video calls, and share images, documents, and other media files. By integrating Arattai with Zoho Cliq, you can connect with other users instantly.

Installation 

  1. Navigate to the Zoho Cliq Marketplace.

  2. Search for and install "Arattai". 
  3. You can add the Arattai widget to the navigation sidebar upon successful installation.

Note: Ensure that you are logged in to your Arattai account on your mobile device or browser to use it seamlessly in Cliq.

Widget 

  1. Open the Arattai widget and click the Login button.

  1. Authenticate by scanning the displayed QR code with your Arattai app or sign in with your mobile number. For convenience, select the Keep me signed in checkbox to remember your credentials.
  2. Once authenticated, you can use your Arattai web within Cliq. Select a chat from the list to resume your conversations.

  3. If there are unread messages in Arattai, the widget icon will display an unread message count.

Note:

The unread messages count will be displayed only when the Arattai widget is within the first 5 pinned widgets in the navigation sidebar.
You can share links from Arattai to Cliq conversations, and Cliq will automatically unfurl the link to display the necessary information. Here are some examples of scenarios where link unfurling works seamlessly in Cliq:

Group Chat Invites

If a group chat invite is shared in Cliq, you can join them effortlessly using the link.


Click on the 'Preview' button provided in the link to view the preview of the group chat, and by clicking on the 'Join group' button, you can join the group.
If a channel invite is shared in Cliq, you can join them effortlessly using the link.

By clicking on 'Preview', you can view the preview of the channel. You can open your channel by selecting 'Open in Arattai.'

When you send a message link, it will display the preview of the message directly in the conversation. Clicking on the "Preview" button will navigate you to the conversation in Arattai.
Sending a contact link enables you to view the description of the contact.

Format:

The user must have configured to allow username in Arattai. The contact link must be in the following format: https://aratt.ai/@username.


Message actions 

Sending a message from Cliq to Arattai 

You can easily send a message from within Cliq to an Arattai conversation. Hover over the message, select More from the message actions, and search for 'Message in Arattai'. The selected message will be filled in automatically, but you can edit it if needed. Select the desired Arattai chat from the drop-down menu and click Send.

Sending an attachment from Cliq to Arattai 

In Cliq, you can easily send an attachment to an Arattai conversation. Hover over the message and select More from the message actions and search for 'Message in Arattai'. The selected attachment's comment will be filled in automatically, but you can edit it if needed.  Select the desired Arattai chat from the drop-down menu and click Send.
