Getting started with ClickUp
- Click here to go to the ClickUp extension page in Marketplace.
- Click on the Install button.
ClickUp in Cliq
Here are the initial steps to get started with the ClickUp integration.
- The first time you perform any action in ClickUp integration, you will get an authentication dialog requesting permission to connect with your Click Up account. After authenticating your account, connection will established between Click Up and Cliq.
- Also on using any component of Click Up integration the very first time, you will get a consents box requesting permission to access your data. This consents box is to ensure privacy by letting you know how your data will be handled.
ClickUp Bot
- Navigate to the ClickUp bot
- In there, you will find a welcome card and a few message actions.
- Click on Take a tour.
You will get a message card with instructions to Click on the Workspace menu action to connect to your specific ClickUp workspace.
- Click on the Workspace action menu
- Click on the Workspace dropdown to select a workspace of yours to connect with Cliq
- Click on the channel dropdown to map a channel to receive timely notifications
- Then click on Connect

Workspace
The workspace action menu will allow you to connect to your specific ClickUp workspace and map notifications to any channel in Cliq.
View Configs
Clicking on View Configs will show you configuration details such as the workspace's name, the channel it is mapped to, the name of the user who initiated the connection, and the actions available.
Help
Help provides you with information on how you can leverage ClickUp in Cliq.
Post to Bot
Configure Post to Bot for receiving all your tasks updates and notifications inside the ClickUp bot.
How to remap a workspace to a different channel?
- Click on the View Configs action menu.
- Click on Edit
- Click on the channel dropdown, select a channel
- Click on Save and Update
How to delete a workspace that is connected?
- Click on the View Configs action menu
- Click on Delete
How to connect to a workspace?
- Click on the Workspace action menu
- Click on the Workspace dropdown to select a workspace of yours to connect with Cliq
- Click on the channel dropdown to map a channel to receive timely notifications
- Then click on Connect
The ClickUp widget has two tabs:
- My Tasks: You can view all your tasks here
- All Tasks: All the Tasks in your workspace will be listed here
My Tasks
Under My Tasks, you further have four sub-tabs
- Overdue: You can view your over due tasks
- Today's Tasks: Your today's tasks will be listed here
- Next Tasks: Your upcoming tasks will be listed here
- Unscheduled Tasks: Tasks that do not have their due date scheduled will be listed here

Follow the below steps to perform the actions available in the My Tasks tab
Change workspace
- Click on the Change workspace Button
- Select a workspace from the workspace dropdown
- Click on update
Delete task
- Click on the delete icon to delete a task
Edit task
- Click on the edit
- Make required changes
- Click on update
About Task
Click on the info button to know your task details
All Task
From the all task tab, you will be able to open your workspaces, view the folders/lists inside it, and further perform the actions mentioned above on the list.
Actions available in the My Tasks tab
- Create a new task
- Change workspace
- Edit task

Create a new task
- Click on the Add task button
- Enter the task name
- Enter a short task description in the description box
- Select a user by clicking on the Assign To dropdown
- Click on the Status dropdown and select a status to track task progress
- Click on the Priority dropdown and Set the priority level for your task
- Set a due date
- Click on Create task
To perform edit task, delete task and about task follow the steps above.
Click up message action
Follow the below steps to convert a message action in Cliq into a ClickUp task:
- Hover over the message that you want to convert as a ClickUp task
- Click on the kebab icon (3 dots)
- Select the more Option
- Click on Add Task to ClickUp
