Confluence by Atlassian is a collaboration and documentation tool designed to help teams create, share, and manage content efficiently. It serves as a central hub where team members can work together on projects, share knowledge, and document processes. By integrating Confluence with Zoho Cliq, you will be able to create and view pages, create spaces, and receive notifications on various activities within pages.
Info: The extension is available in the following regions: United States (US), Australia (AU), China (CN) , Europe (EU) , Japan (JP) , India (IN).

Installation: 

  1. Go to the Zoho Cliq Marketplace and search for "Confluence", or install it directly from this link.
  2. Choose whether to install the extension for your entire organization or specific teams.
  3. Accept the extension's permission requests, and you're ready to go.

Features: 

Create a Space: 

  • Bot Menu Action:  Navigate to the Confluence bot and click New Space bot menu.

    Once you fill in the details, a message will be posted in the bot.

  • Widget:  Go to the Confluence widget, click the New Space button in the top-right corner, fill in the details, and click Create.

  • Slash Command /confluence -> Create Space:  You can create a space from any chat or channel by typing /confluence in the text area and selecting 'Create Space' from the options. A 'New Space' form will appear where you can enter the name of the space, provide the Space Key, and specify whether you want the space to be private.

Switch Space: 

  • Bot Menu Action:  Navigate to the Confluence bot and click the Switch Account bot menu action'.

  •  Widget:  Go to the Confluence widget, then click the Switch Space button in the top-right corner.

  • A 'Switch Space' form will appear with drop-down options to choose from. Select the space you want to switch to and click Update.

Create a Page: 

  • Bot Menu Action:  Navigate to the Confluence bot, click the Page, and select Create Page.

  • Widget:  Go to the Confluence widget, click the Add Page button in the top-right corner.

  • Slash Command /confluence -> Create Page:  You can create a page from any chat or channel by typing /confluence in the text area and selecting Create Page from the options.

  • An 'Add Page' form will appear, where you can enter the Name, Content, the Space to add the page to, and whether to make the page private. A message will be posted in the chat once the page creation is successful.

Edit a Page: 

  • Widget:  To edit a page, go to the widget. A list of pages belonging to a space will be displayed. Under the page, click Edit, which will redirect you to the Confluence page where you can make the necessary changes.

Add Comment to Page:

  • Bot Menu Action:  Navigate to the Confluence bot, click the Page bot menu action, then select Add Comment.

  • Widget:  To add a comment to a page, go to the widget.A list of pages belonging to a space will be displayed. Under the page, click Comment.

  • Slash Command /confluence -> Add Comment:  You can add a comment to a page from any chat or channel by typing /confluence in the text area and selecting Add Comment from the options.

  • An 'Add Comment' form will appear, where you can type your comment and click the Add comment button. A message will be posted on the chat or channel that the comment is added.

View Comments in a Page: 

  • Widget:  To view comments on a page, go to the widget. A list of pages belonging to a space will be displayed. Under the page, click View comments'to see all the comments on that page.

View Page: 

  • Bot Menu Action:  To view all the pages created for a particular space, navigate to the Confluence bot and click the Page bot menu action, then select View All Pages. A list in tabular format will be posted in the bot with the name of the page and an action to open the page. Select the Open Page option be directed to the Confluence page.

  • Widget:  To view a page, go to the widget. A list of pages belonging to a space will be displayed. Under each page, click the View Page button to view the page inside the widget.

  • Slash Command /confluence -> View Page:  You can view a page from any chat or channel by typing /confluence in the text area and selecting View Page from the options.

    A list in tabular format will be posted in the bot with the name of the page and an action to open the page. Select the Open Page' option tol be directed to the Confluence page.

Map Channel to Page: 

  • Bot Menu Action:  To map a channel to a page, go to the Confluence bot, click the Notifications bot menu action, then select Map Channel. A message will be posted. Clich the Map Channel button.

    A map channel form will appear. Select the space, channel, and events to notify from the drop-down, then click Map.

    Any notifications related to the events you have mentioned will be posted on the channel.

View Mappings: 
  •  Bot Menu Action:  Go to the Confluence bot, click the Notifications bot menu action, and select View Mappings. If you have mapped a channel to your page, all your listings will be posted in a tabular format with space, channel, and actions to perform. Here, you can edit the mapping or unmap them.
