Evernote

Evernote is a note-taking and task management platform where you can archive or create notes with embedded photos and audio, and saved web content. Integrating Evernote with Zoho Cliq can help you share and access your Evernote notes directly within Zoho Cliq.

The extension is available in the following region: United States (US)

Installation

Go to the Zoho Cliq Marketplace and search for "Evernote" or install it from here →.
Specify whether you want to install the extension for your entire organization or specific teams then click Install.
Accept the extension's permission requests.

Authenticating Your Account

Once you receive a bot message confirming successful installation, you'll need to authenticate your account. To do so:

Enter your credentials.
Select how long you would like Zoho Cliq to be authorized to use your Evernote account.

Evernote Bot

The Evernote bot helps you create notes, view your notes, and enable notifications for mapped channels.

There are five actions available in the Evernote bot:

Create Note

You can create a note in a notebook using the Create Note button. A form will appear where you need to select the notebook where you want to create the note, add a title and content, select tags, and add attachments. You can either add a new tag or select from available tags. Once all the details are entered, click the Create button to create the note.

View Note

You can view the notes of a particular notebook. Select the notebook and note, and the content will be posted in the bot.

Notifications

You can map a note to a channel or receive notifications from the Evernote bot. Additionally, you can view all mapped notes along with their notification mode, whether it’s through a channel or the bot.

Map channel

When you map a note to a channel, you will receive updates on the note inside the channel. To map a note to a channel:

Select the notebook for which you want to receive notifications in a channel.
Choose how you want to be notified: Bot or Channel.
Select the actions for which you want to receive notifications: Notebook Creation or Note Creation.

View Mappings

All your mappings will be displayed in a tabular column. You can perform actions such as Update or Unmap for a particular mapping.

Settings

Using the Authenticate button, you can verify your connection and authorize access to your Evernote account.

Help

You will be able to view all that the extension offers using the Help bot action.

Evernote Widget

The Evernote widget displays all your notes from a selected notebook. You will have two options for each note:

Share: Share the note to a channel.
Open: Open the note in Evernote.

Create Note Button

You can create a note directly from the widget using the Create Note button.

Slash commands

You can use '/createnote' to create a note from any conversation, or '/viewnote' to view the notes of a particular notebook in any conversation.

Message actions

Hover over any message and convert it into a note by using the Create Note message action.
