Factorial HR


Factorial HR is a comprehensive human resource management software designed to streamline HR tasks, such as payroll, time tracking, and employee data management. It helps businesses automate administrative processes and improve overall HR efficiency.
 
By integrating Factorial HR with Zoho Cliq, you can receive alerts on various events like adding employees, creating tasks, and viewing details of employees and tasks directly within Cliq.

Note: Recruitment module use cases are not supported in this integration, as Factorial HR has moved this module to a premium plan.

Installation   

  1. Go to the Zoho Cliq Marketplace and search for "Factorial HR",, or install it directly from this link.
  2. Choose whether to install the extension for your entire organization or specific teams.
  3. Accept the extension's permission requests, and you're ready to go.

Features   

Employee Management   

Add Employee 

  • Bot Menu Action: Go to the Factorial HR bot, then click Create, followed by Employee. Fill in the Email, First Name, Last Name, Role, and Start Date.

  • Widget: 
    Navigate to the Employee tab in the Factorial HR widget, then click New Employee. Fill in the necessary details.
  • Slash Command: Use the /employee slash command in any chat to view the list of employees. The list will display employee details, such as name and email address, in a tabular format.
  • Click More Info to view more information on an employee.

View Employee 

  • Bot Menu Action: Go to the Factorial HR bot, then click View, followed byEmployee to view the list of employees. The list will display employee details, such as name and email address, in a tabular format. You can also view more information on the employee, as well as update the employee details.

  • Widget: Navigate to the Employee tab in the Factorial HR widget to view all employees.
The following options are available under the employee tab:
  • New Employee: Add an employee to your account.
  • Search: Search for an employee from the drop-down.
Each employee card has two options: Teams and More. You can use the Teams to assign an employee to a team. You can use the More option to view more information on the employee.

Task Management   

 Create Task 

  • Bot Menu Action: Go to the Factorial HR bot, then click Create, followed by Task. Fill in the Name, Description, and Due Date.

  • Widget: Navigate to the Tasks tab in the Factorial HR widget, click Add Task, and fill in the necessary details.

  • Message Action: Use the Add to Task message action to convert messages to tasks.

View Task 

  • Bot Menu Action: Go to the Factorial HR bot, then click on View, followed by Task to view the list of tasks
Here, the tasks will be displayed in a tabular format with task name, due date, and assignees. You can also use the 'Update' option to edit your task details.
  • Widget: Navigate to the Tasks tab in the Factorial HR widget to view all tasks.

Project Management   

  • Widget: Create and view projects using the Projects tab in the Factorial HR widget.
Here, you will be able to view the following options:
  • Create Project: You can create a project by adding Project Name, Description, Status (active or closed), Due Date, and Start Date.
  • Search: You can search for a project using the drop-down menu in the search.

  • Slash Command: Use the /viewprojects slash command to view projects.

Post Management   

  • Slash Command: Use the /post slash command to create posts. You can add the Title, Description, Type of Post, Start Date, Location, and enable Allow Comments and Reactions.

  • Message Action: Use the Add to post message action to convert a message to a post.

Alerts   

Bot menu action 

You can use the bot menu action to enable, modify, and disable alerts.

  • Enable Alerts: Enable alerts from the bot or post them in a channel for various events in Zoho Cliq. This helps in track and update changes more efficiently.

Once you have enabled alerts, you will receive a notification in the bot or channel whenever the event you specified occurs.
  • Modify Alerts: You can update any changes you want to apply for alerts.
  • Disable Alerts: You can disable Factorial HR alerts using the disable bot menu action.

Use the 'Help' bot menu action or widget tab to get detailed information about the extension's features.
