How to post notification messages in Cliq using IFTTT?
IFTTT (If This Then That) is an integration that allows you to connect your favourite applications with Zoho Cliq. This integration is done through applets available in IFTTT which connect with Zoho Cliq. After connecting an applet, when an event happens in an application, a notification will be triggered in Zoho Cliq.

Here's how integrating Cliq and IFTTT Works
Once IFTTT is integrated with Cliq, whenever the "if this condition" is initiated the notification action will be triggered in Cliq. You can configure your trigger action notification in Cliq 1-1 Direct messages, Channels and Bots.
Steps to integrate IFTTT with Zoho Cliq
1. Sign in to your IFTTT account or create a new account in the IFTTT page , if you don't have an existing account.
2. Navigate to Zoho Cliq's page for IFTTT using the following links:

3. Click Connect .

You will be redirected to your Zoho Account.
5. Click on
Accept
to allow IFTTT to connect with your Zoho account.
You can go ahead and create your own applet to integrate with your Zoho Cliq account or you can choose from the ready-to-connect applets for Zoho Cliq.
Creating applets to post notification messages in Zoho Cliq
- Navigate to https://ifttt.com/zohocliq
- Click Create .
- Click on the Add button adjacent to If This
- Select a service you want to integrate with Cliq
- Click on Create trigger .
- Click on the Add button adjacent to Then That
- Search and select Zoho Cliq
- Choose an action
- Complete the action fields
- Select a chat (hundred latest chats will be made available for you to select from)
- Enter the content you would like to add to the message card
- Enter the title of the message card
- Select message card theme
- Add the External Link
- Add thumbnail URL
- Click on Create action
- Click on Continue and Finish
Note: You have option to Disconnect/Archive and reconnect the connection with the application from the page.
