Jira

By integrating Jira with Zoho Cliq, you can track bugs and plan and manage software projects inside Cliq.

Available Regions:

US, IN, EU, AU,CN, JP

Installation 

  1. Go to Zoho Cliq Marketplace, then search for and install "Jira". Alternatively, click the following link.     

Authentication 

  1. After successful installation, a bot message will be posted.

  1. Click the Getting Started button, then enter your credentials..

  1. Enter the email address, API token, and subdomain, then select Authorize.

 To create an API token: 

  1. Select Click Here. You will be redirected to Atlassian's account page. Enter your account credentials to log in.

  1. On the API token page that appears, click Create Token and enter a name for your token. The token will be generated.

  1. Copy the token to your clipboard and paste it into the API token field.

To view your subdomain:

  1. In your Jira Cloud account, navigate to a project. In the URL, you will find 'https://example.atlassian.net/' where 'example' is the subdomain.

Bot 

Upon successful authentication of the account, a bot message will be posted along with the following bot actions:

  • Configure

  • Help

Configure 

When you select the Configure button, you can modify the subdomain and default project.

You can also associate a Cliq channel to get instant notifications on updates from Jira.

Help 

By selecting the Help bot action, a message will be posted by the bot to guide you through what the integration offers.

Note:

  1. To configure notifications, select the Help Bot actions. You will be guided step by step through all the actions to be performed.

Scheduler  

By default, you will receive the issues list due in the next two days as a message in the bot. If no issues have a due date scheduled, you will receive a "No Deadline Issues in the next 2 days" message in the bot.

Widget 

The widget has four tabs: To Do, In Progress, Done, and Summary. In the To Do, In Progress, and Done tabs, you will be able to perform the following actions:

  • Edit Default Project: Switch from the current project to a different one.

  • Add Issue: Add an issue to a project.

  • Issue Type: Choose an issue type to filter specific issues, such as Task, Epic, and Subtask.

  • You can add comments and also  open, edit, delete, and view the details of the tasks.

  1. To Do

All the issues whose workflow status is To Do will be listed here.

  1. In Progress

All the tasks being worked on will be displayed in the 'In Progress' tab.

  1. Done

All the tasks that are done will be displayed in the Done tab.

  1. Summary

A summary of the workflow status will be displayed in the form of a graph. Additionally, a table will present the list of issue statuses along with their respective counts, providing users with an overview of the project.

Slash commands 

By using the slash command "/jira" in any chat, you can select and view issue details in Cliq.

Message actions 

In Zoho Cliq, you can use message actions to convert a message into an issue.

You can now quickly share your files in any chat with just the file link, which will unfurl the link and provide the details of the file to the users.

Through this, users can view the details without even shifting to Jira.
