Translate Phrase
Translate words, phrases, and messages directly in Zoho Cliq chats with the Translate Phrase extension. It helps you communicate easily with teammates, customers, and partners across languages.
Use a slash command to translate text or the Translate Phrase message action to translate an existing message.
How to install Translate Phrase?
Click on the Marketplace icon near your profile picture and search for Translate Phrase.
Select Entire organization or Specific team only, then click Install.
Click Take me to Cliq once the installation is complete.
How to translate using a slash command?
Use /translatephrase and select the language you want to translate to.
Now, type the message you want to translate.
Once the message is sent, it will be translated to the language that you chose in the chat.
You can post the card in the chat for everyone to see, forward it to another conversation, or close it.
Click the Language Swap icon on the card to switch the source and target languages, then translate another phrase.
How to translate using a message action?
Hover over the message you want to translate.
Click on the three dots and then More...
Search for Translate Phrase in the More message actions pop-up window.
The source text will automatically be added when using the Translate Phrase message action.
You can either manually choose the source language or leave it to automatically detect it.
Finally, select the target language and click Translate.
The translated message will be posted as a card in the chat.
