Translate words, phrases, and messages directly in Zoho Cliq chats with the Translate Phrase extension. It helps you communicate easily with teammates, customers, and partners across languages.

Use a slash command to translate text or the Translate Phrase message action to translate an existing message.

How to install Translate Phrase? 

• Click on the Marketplace icon near your profile picture and search for Translate Phrase.

• Select Entire organization or Specific team only, then click Install.

• Click Take me to Cliq once the installation is complete.

How to translate using a slash command? 

• Use /translatephrase and select the language you want to translate to.

• Now, type the message you want to translate.

• Once the message is sent, it will be translated to the language that you chose in the chat.

• You can post the card in the chat for everyone to see, forward it to another conversation, or close it.

• Click the Language Swap icon on the card to switch the source and target languages, then translate another phrase.

How to translate using a message action? 

• Hover over the message you want to translate.

• Click on the three dots and then More...

• Search for Translate Phrase in the More message actions pop-up window.

• The source text will automatically be added when using the Translate Phrase message action.

• You can either manually choose the source language or leave it to automatically detect it.

• Finally, select the target language and click Translate.

• The translated message will be posted as a card in the chat.
