How to start a call with a user in Cliq?

There are various ways to start a call with a user in Cliq:
  1. In the user's chat window:

  • Click on the call icon in the chat header. You can choose to start an Audio Call, a Video Call or Screen Share.
  1. Quick Actions (+) icon:

  • Click on the + icon next to the search bar and select Make a Call. You can choose to have a Cliq Call or a Phone Call.
  • If you clicked on Cliq Call, you will get a drop down with a search bar to choose who you want to call.
  • If you selected Phone Call, you will get a keypad to type in a phone number. You can also access the contact list, SMS and the Logs.
 


NotesNote: The Phone Call option can only be used if the phone number is integrated with the system.

  1. Click on the i icon:

  • Click on the i icon near the user's name in the left sidebar. Now, click on the call icon to call the specific user.
  1. Using the search bar:

  • Search for the user that you want to call in the search bar.
  • You can either call them by hovering over their name under Results and clicking on the call icon or click on the call icon in their user profile to start a call.
  1. In Remote Work view:

  • Hover over the user that you want to call via the Remote Work view.

  • Click on the call icon to make an audio call.

Note:
  • If your call is declined by a user, you can record and send a voice mail for why you called them.
  • The audio or video call option is enabled by default, but if an admin disables it, the option will not be available to the users.
