Options in Cliq audio calls

What are the options available on a Cliq audio call?

Cliq supports audio calls on desktop as well as on mobile devices. There are various options available for you to utilize during a call which may slightly vary according to the device that you are using.

NotesNote: When you are on an audio call, your Cliq status will change to "On a Cliq call".

  1. Web & Desktop:

You can easily drag and move the call notification anywhere on your screen. You will have four options when you are in a Cliq call:

  1. Turn mic off/on: You can use this option to turn off or turn on your microphone.

  2. End call: Click on this option to end the call.

  3. Start screen share: You have option to share your browser tab, window or your entire screen using this option.

  4. More (three-dots): This option has various other options to choose:

  1. Settings: You can access Device Settings and Network Performance via the this option.

  2. Share video: You can use this option to share your live video to the participant(s).

  3. Open Chat: You can open the chat window of the caller using this option.

  4. Notes: This will open a pop-up of Zoho Notebooks to jot down notes or to refer to previous notes.

  5. Add users: You can add other users to the call by clicking on this option.

  6. Start recording: You can record the meeting by clicking on this option for future references.

  7. Open Picture-in-Picture: You can use this option to see the caller or their screen while working in a different tab or a browser.

  1. Android:

You will have the following option on Android when you are on a Cliq call:

  1. End Call: You can end the call by clicking on the "red phone" icon.

  2. Turn on/off mic: You can turn your microphone on or off by clicking on this icon.

  3. Enable/disable camera: You can switch to video call by clicking on this icon to enable the camera. You can disable the camera by clicking on the same icon again.

  4. Speaker on/off: You can turn the speaker on or off using this option. 

NotesNote: If you are on a video call on your android phone, you will have the option to switch between front and back camera instead of turning on/off the speaker.


v. More (three dots): You have two options when you click on the three dots on your android device — Add participants and Start screen share.


  1. iOS:

You will have the following options on iOS when you are on a Cliq call:

  1. End Call: You can end the call by clicking on the "red phone" icon.

  2. Turn on/off mic: You can turn your microphone on or off by clicking on this icon.

  3. Enable/disable camera: You can switch to video call by clicking on this icon by enabling the camera.

  4. Speaker on/off: You can turn the speaker on or off using this option.

 

  1. Three dots: You will have 3 options once you click on the three dots on your iOS device — Add users, Start screen share and Start recording.


NotesNote: If you receive a regular mobile call while on a Cliq call through the mobile app, you can switch between calls.
