How can a user control the meeting using another device in Zoho Cliq?

The meeting controller allows users to manage various aspects of a meeting using a secondary device. For instance, if you start a meeting through the Rooms app on your Android TV, you can control it from your mobile phone. Here’s how:

How to Use a Device as a Meeting Controller

  1. Start or Join a Meeting: Begin by launching or joining a meeting on your primary device.
  2. Access Your Controller Device: On the device you'd like to use to manage the meeting (e.g., your mobile phone), a meeting banner will appear.
  3. Tap the Banner: A "Join" button will be visible on the banner. Tap it to continue.
  4. Select "Use as controller": This will open a set of meeting controls.

Available Meeting Operations

Once you've selected "Use as controller," you can control various aspects of the meeting, including:
  • Mic on/off: Turn your mic on or off.
  • Video on/off: Enable or disable your video.
  • Add Reactions: Send reactions during the meeting.
  • Use as Audio Source: Switch audio to your controller device.
  • End or Leave Meeting: Exit the meeting or end it for everyone.

Additional Options (Under "More")

  1. Transfer Meeting: Move the meeting to this device.
  2. Invite Participants: Add more attendees to the meeting.
  3. View Participants: See the list of attendees.
  4. Mute All: Silence all participants.
  5. Start/Stop Recording: Begin recording the session.
  6. Lock Meeting: Prevent new participants from joining.
  7. Configurations: Access and adjust meeting settings.
  8. Exit Controller: Exit controlling the meeting from the device.
