How to mute a channel in Cliq?

There are two ways to mute a channel in Cliq:

1. Click on the bell icon in the chat header. Choose the time you want the channel to be on mute. To unmute click the icon again. 
   

2. Click on Channels in the left side bar and right-click on the channel name. Select Mute Conversation to mute the channel. This will mute the channel forever unless you unmute it. To unmute right-click again and select Unmute Conversation.

3. The quickest way to mute or unmute a channel is by using slash commands. Type /mute -h(hours) number or /mute -d(days) number in the text-box and press Enter. 

 

Note :

If you are being mentioned or if someone replies to your message on the channel, you will be notified even if you have muted that channel.
