What is channel info in Cliq and how do you view it?

Channel info is the description section of a channel. It displays the channel's purpose, participant details, and other information such as conversations, permissions, and connectors.

You can view the channel info in the following ways:

  1. From the Actions menu in the channel chat: Click Actions in the top-right corner and select Channel info. A dialog window will appear.

  2. Select Channels in the left sidebar to view the categorized list of channels.
    • Hover over a channel and click the More info icon in the pop-up.

    • Alternatively, right-click the channel name and select Channel Info.

    • Copy the Permalink and send it to a chat: Click Actions in the top-right corner and select Copy Permalink.

    • Send the link in a chat. A message with the channel name and channel info will be displayed.

    • The quickest way to check channel info is by clicking the Channel image in the chat header. A dialog window with channel info will be displayed. You can also view more details, such as recent conversations, permissions, and connectors.
