What are Commands and how to use them?
Commands are instructions you give to perform an action on your behalf. Cliq allows the use of commands in simplified form, and they are called Slash Commands.
- Slash Commands are simple shortcuts that you can use to perform operations or tasks in the chat window.
- You can either use default commands like pin,mute,mail etc. or create your own commands for specific functions like sending broadcast messages to other conversations, creating a bug in Zoho Projects etc.
- To execute a command, type /command_name and Enter.
Tip: For quick commands, type / in the text box. You will receive suggestions, select a command and click Enter.
- You will receive Command Suggestions to choose from. For example : If a user wants to send a cat gif, they can type /giphy cat and select a gif from the suggestions.
Note : You can also view your commands and all the commands available.
