Chat Tabs let you pin frequently used tools and resources to a Cliq channel. Channel members can access projects, files, widgets, forms, reports, dashboards, and webpages without leaving the conversation.
You can add tabs for:
Zoho Projects
Files from Zoho WorkDrive
Widgets
Forms
Zoho Analytics
Links
The number of Chat Tabs allowed in a channel depends on your Zoho Cliq plan. Chat tabs is available in the Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans.

Note:Channels in Zoho Cliq networks will also have the same limitations.
The availability of a tab may also depend on the connected app, the user’s access, and the channel scope.
Admin Panel:
Go to Admin Panel → Organization → Configuration → Channels.
Click on Default permissions.
Check the boxes to Manage chat apps and click Save.
Click Confirm on the pop-up.
ii. Channel permissions:
You can manage chat app permissions for the respective channel via Channel Info → Manage chat apps.
The Zoho Projects integration must be enabled for your organization. If it is not enabled, an organization administrator must enable it.

The available entities depend on your Zoho Projects plan:
On the Professional plan, only Tasks are available.
On higher plans, both Tasks and Issues are available.

Go to a channel and click + beside the existing tabs.
Choose Projects to add as a tab.
Enter the tab name and configure the required details.
Click on Add Tab.
Projects will now be displayed as a tab in the channel header.
You can add, edit and manage tasks and issues without leaving the chat window.
Click on the dropdown near the Projects tab or right click on the tab to open the dropdown.
You can edit, reorder the tabs, and delete the tab.
You can also modify the Notification Settings from the Projects tab.
You can configure notifications for when an action is done according to your need.

Note:
You can only add one Zoho Projects tab per channel.
You can also add chat tabs in a channel by clicking on the three dots → Channel Info → Apps → Add Tab.
Go to a channel and click + beside the existing tabs.
Choose File to add as a new chat tab.
Choose a file from the Workdrive and click on Pick.
You can modify the link settings to manage who can access the file and click Apply.
The name will automatically be updated once you select a file.
Click Add Tab.
The file will be added as a tab in the channel header.
Note:Make sure the file is shared with the required channel members before adding it.
Adding a file as a tab does not automatically grant access. Members who do not have permission to view the file must first be given access in WorkDrive.
Select Widget.
Enter a name in the Tab Name field.
Select the required widget from the Select a Widget dropdown.
Select the required predefined tab from the Select a Tab dropdown.
Click Add Tab.
The widget will now be added to the header.

Note:
If the widget requires permission, consent will be asked. Click Proceed to allow to continue.
If the widget is in an empty state, you will get the following message.
You can now use the widget from the tab in the header.

Info:
Only predefined widget tabs can be added.
Dynamic tabs cannot be added.
Tabs from Legacy widgets cannot be added.
The widget scope must match the channel scope.
The user must have access to the widget and its app.
For example, an organization-scoped channel can only use a widget that supports organization scope. A personal-scoped widget cannot be added to an organization-scoped channel.

Click on + and select Forms.
Select a form from the dropdown.
Once a form is selected, click Add Tab.
The form can be accessed from the header now.

Note: The Form View Handler must be enabled for the form. Forms without this handler will not appear for selection.
Click on + and then select Link.
Copy and paste the link you want to add as a tab and then enter a name.
Click Add Tab.
The link will now be added.
Tip: When a website or application provides an Embed option, use the generated embed URL instead of the regular webpage URL.
For example, when adding a published dashboard:
Open the dashboard in the source application.
Select Share, Publish, or Embed.
Copy the generated embed link.
Paste it into the Link URL field.
Click + and select Analytics.
Select a workspace.
Choose a View Type from the option.
Select a View.
Click Add Tab after configuring all the options.
Your data will now be visualized in the Analytics chat tab.
Click the dropdown arrow beside or right-click the chat tab.
Select Edit, Reorder, or Remove.
i. Edit: Click on edit to change the name or select a new Project, File, Widget, Form, Link, and Analytics.
ii. Reorder: Click on Reorder and drag the tabs to reorder them.
iii. Remove:
Click on Remove.
You will get a confirmation pop-up. Click on Remove to remove the tab.

Note:
You can add chat tabs from Channel Info → Apps.
You can also create, edit, delete, and reorder from here.
Note: Tabs can't be added in an external channel.
