To communicate better, users can send voice messages instead of text messages. Sending a quick voice message saves time and effectively delivers the message.
To send a voice message in Cliq chats and channels, follow these steps:
- At the bottom of the chat window, click the Voice message icon.

- Make a recording of the message you'd like to convey. When you've finished recording, select Stop.

- To listen to your recorded message, press the Play icon; to delete it and start recording again, press the close icon (cross button).
- Select the Send button to send the recorded message to the user.
- The user will receive a dialog box with the recording once you've sent it.

The following are the options available to a user who has received a voice message:
- Play/Pause - The user can pause and resume listening to the recorded message at anytime.
- Mute/Unmute - The voice message can be muted or unmuted by the user.
- Duration - The user can check the duration of the recording as well as can skip ahead by sliding the dot icon next to play/pause.
- Speed -To listen to the recorded message, the user can adjust the speed. There are six alternatives available: 0.5x, 0.75x, Normal (1x), 1.25x, and 1.5x.
- Download - The user can download the voice messages.
- Forward - The user can forward the voice message to other users. They also have the option to include the original sender's info while forwarding.
Note :
- The sent voice message will be downloaded in the '.wav' format.
- The maximum duration of a voice message is 15 minutes.
- The name of the message is by default in the format - voice-message-date-time.
