What is Multi Chat view and how do I enable it?

You can enable Multi Chat to chat with multiple channels, groups, or users simultaneously.

To enable Multi Chat, do the following:

1. Click your Contact image in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Select Profile & Settings from the user panel that appears.
   

3. Select Display in the left sidebar and click on Chat Window.
   
4. Select Multi Chat. This will enable multiple chat windows on the screen.
   

 

Note:

• Multi Chat view allows you to view up to 3 chat windows on your screen at once. You can, however, open as many chat windows as you want, but if you have more than 3, the first one will move to the background, allowing the most recent one to get displayed.
• The previous chat window will slide to the right when you open a new chat window.

 

Tip:

• Switch between Single and Multi Chat view using the shortcut command - Alt + Enter (for Windows OS) and Option + Enter (for macOS).
