What are @mentions in Cliq and how can I make use of them?

The purpose of @mentions is to tag a user so that they do not miss out on messages meant specifically for them.

The @username mention can be used to tag or refer to a specific user. If the user is not part of the channel or chat you'll get a prompt asking if you want to add the user. 


Note:
  • Your mentions are displayed on the header tab with the @ icon.
  • If you are offline and get mentioned, a red count appears.

  •  If you are online and get mentioned, a green count appears.

  • The @mentions tab will hold a list of your last 30 days' mentions for future reference.

  • You may also enable email notifications when you're @mentioned in Settings.
