How can a user customize the navigation sidebar?
Users can customize the navigation sidebar only if the admin has not restricted configuration for arranging modules.
Web and desktop
To customize your navigation sidebar in web and desktop, do the following:
- Navigate to user panel and click Profile & Settings.
- Select Display and go to Navigation Sidebar.
- Drag and drop to rearrange/add modules.
A user can view the allowed apps in two ways:
- Allowed apps can be viewed by clicking on the settings icon and select More apps at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
Note:
- A user can select Configure Sidebar that will open navigation sidebar settings in the Profile & Settings.
- Allowed apps can be viewed under more options (...) when the screen size of the page is increased or more number of modules are present.
Note:
- If the admin has restricted the user from arranging modules, the user will find "Admin has locked this configuration, restricting user from making changes" message in the configuration page.
Mobile
To customize your navigation sidebar on mobile, do the following:
- Go to your mobile app and select the More option in the bottom-right corner and select Edit.
- Select Add Apps to add more apps or you can use the red circle with hyphen (-) option in the app name to remove existing apps from the sidebar.
- Select the + option to add apps to your navigation sidebar.
