Projects in Cliq

The Projects section in Cliq helps you to add, manage, track tasks and issues from Cliq.
Notes
You will be able to view the Projects section, only if you are a paid user of Zoho Cliq and Zoho Projects.
Once tasks section is enabled, in every team and organizational level channel, you will be able to find a add tab option (plus icon), clicking on it will show you options to add tasks and issues as a tab in the channel and will create a project and those project notifications will be mapped to that channel.

To add a task and issues from channel and map notifications to that channel follow the below steps:

  1. Click on the + icon in the channel top menu bar

  1. Select Tasks or Issues as per your requirement. In this example, Tasks is selected.

  2. The Configure Tasks form will appear, where you need to choose either an existing project or create a new project to add the task to.


  1. Enter your task details and click Add.

  1.  Once the task/issue is added, a project will be created and the notifications related to that project will be mapped to the channel.

Managing Task/Issue Notifications in a Channel

  1. Click the Tasks/Issues dropdown and select Notification Settings.
  2. Use the toggle button to disable all notifications at once, instead of turning them off individually.
  3. When enabled, you can choose specific actions for which you want to receive notifications.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

View all your tasks 

To view all your tasks, click on the Projects section. You will be able to view all your tasks categorized into  the following sections: All Open, My Open, My Overdue & Open, Today's Tasks & Tasks Created By Me. 
From this view you can add tasks, switch views, add filters, export tasks and perform all the tasks that you can from projects portal


View all your Issues

To view all your Issues, click on the Projects section. You will be able to view all your Issues categorized into  the following sections: 
All Open, My Open, Overdue & Open & Issues Created By Me from this view you can add Issues, switch views, add filters, export Issues and perform all the tasks that you can from projects portal.



Projects Bot

The project bot notifies you about the updates in configured task settings. It follow up on your tasks and get notified with important updates. To manage notifications bought to you by the projects bot follow the below steps:
  1. Click on the settings 

  1. Select the required actions for which you would like to receive notifications via projects bot.
