Tasks in Cliq

The Tasks section in Cliq helps you to add, manage and  track your tasks  from Cliq. Tasks section is available for the users using Zoho Cliq paid account.  For paid users of Zoho Cliq and Projects , the tasks section is replaced with the Projects section. The advantage of Projects section is that, you additionally can view all the issues in projects and avail all the  features that come with the paid plan of projects   from the Cliq's projects section.

Once you have enabled Zoho projects, in every team and organizational level channel, you can add the tasks tab. To add task tab, follow the below steps:
  1. Click on the + icon in the channel top menu bar

  1. Task tab will open, enter the relevant details
  2. Click on Add

If you are a native user of both Cliq and Projects, when you click on the + icon in the channel top menu bar, the task tab will open 
  1. Choose a project
  2. Click Select

  1.  Once the task is added, a project will be created and the notifications related to that project will be fetched by the projects bot to the mapped channel


Note:
  1. Tasks tab can also be added by selecting Create Task option from the message action.
  2. The option to add issues will be only present for users in Cliq and projects paid plan.
  3. Add tab option will only be available for the channel participants with edit permission for channels

Managing Task notification in a channel

  1. Click on the Tasks dropdown and select Notification settings
  2. Select the actions for which you want to receive notifications for 
  3. Click on Save

View all your tasks 

To view all your tasks, click on the Tasks section. You will be able to view all your tasks categorized into  the following sections: All Open,  My Open, My Overdue & Open, Today's Tasks, Tasks Created By Me. 
From this view you can a dd tasks, s witch views, a dd filters, e xport tasks and perform all the tasks that you can from projects portal


Projects Bot

Once you have enabled the projects integration, you will be able to find the projects bot in the Bots section in the navigation sidebar of Cliq.  The project bot notifies you about the updates in configured task settings. It follow up on your tasks and get notified with important updates. To manage notifications bought to you by the projects bot follow the below steps:
  1. Click on the settings 

  1. Select the required actions for which you would like to receive notifications via projects bot
  2. Click close
