Cliq provides data security and privacy by integrating Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) services and configuring mobile permissions based on roles.
Below are some of the errors that will appear on your mobile application when a user performs actions that are restricted.
Case 1 - Access Denied - As per your organization's policy, Zoho Cliq cannot be accessed in mobile devices. Please use the web version for seamless connectivity.

Reason: This occurs when the admin of your organization has disabled the toggle for accessing Cliq app on your mobile.
Solution:
The admin can go to Admin Panel -> Configurations under Organization.
Select Mobile Access under Modules.
Click on the toggle button to allow Cliq mobile app access for your organization.
Role-based mobile permission restriction
Admins can restrict some of the actions users perform on their mobile device based on their roles.
Data security restriction
Case 2 - Copying is disabled by admin

Reason: This error message occurs when the admin has disabled the check-box for Copy message under the mobile permissions.
Case 3 - Download is disabled by admin
Reason: This error message occurs when the admin has disabled the check-box for Download file under the mobile permissions.
Case 4 - Sharing is disabled by admin

Reason: This error message occurs when the admin has disabled the check-box for Share file under the mobile permissions.
Media & File restriction
Case 5: Access to media is disabled by admin

Reason: This error message occurs when the admin has disabled the check-box for Storage access under the mobile permissions.
Case 6: Voice message is disabled by your admin.
Reason: This error message occurs when the admin has disabled the check-box for Voice message under the mobile permissions.
Device restriction
Access in unmanaged devices
If your organization has enabled EMM service then a user cannot access Cliq app on mobile with an unmanaged device.
The org admin will set a device management token that acts like EMM configuration that will restrict access from other devices that are not managed.
Suppose the admin has changed the token and has not updated in the EMM services or if a user uses a device that is not managed by EMM then the following error appears.
Case 7: Access Denied - Please access the Zoho Cliq app that was distributed through your organization's EMM provider.

Reason: This occurs when an admin has disabled the check-box to use Access in unmanaged devices under mobile permissions or the admin has changed the data management token for your organization.
Case 8: Access denied - As per your organization's mobile app policy, Zoho Cliq app cannot be accessed on rooted devices.
Reason: This error occurs when a user tries to access Cliq on a jailbroken device or rooted device when the Access in jailbroken/rooted devices option is disabled under mobile permissions.
Solution:
The admin can enable the permissions for a specific role for users under Permissions -> Roles -> select the role you want to enable the permissions for -> Permissions -> Mobile.
Check the box to enable the permission and click Save.
