How can Cliq Network users create teams?

Note: A Cliq network user will only be able to create a team when the network admin has enabled permission for the network members to create a team.
  1. Click on the network icon in the left-hand side navigation sidebar
  2. Click on the plus icon next to Explore

  1. Upload a team image and enter a name for the team.
  2. Choose the team's visibility
    1. Public: The public visibility will make the team show up on the explore page. Users can join the team directly or request to join based on their chosen mode of joining.
    2. Private: The private visibility option will enable members to join on an invite, and the team will be searchable after the user has joined the team. 
  3. Select a mode of joining if you have chosen your team's visibility as Public.  The public teams have two modes of joining as follows: 
    1. Join directly: The users can join the team directly.
    2. Request to join: The admin of the team receives a request from the user to join the network.
  4. Enter the names of the participants and select from suggestions to add them to the team as admins. 
  5. Enter the names of the participants and select from suggestions to add them to the team as participants. 
  6. Describe the purpose of the team or operations to handle in the Description.



Click on Team Permissions to configure role-based permissions for different actions in a team
the following actions are made available:
  1. Create Channel
  2. Assign Users
  3. Update Team Info
  1. Select appropriate actions as required and click on CREATE
