How to set a reminder in Cliq?

You can set a reminder in the following ways:
  1. Set a reminder using the reminder icon

  • Click the Reminder icon in the header bar of Cliq.
  • The Reminder dialog box will appear. You can set reminders under For me or Assigned to others.

  • Type the reminder's title, click the clock icon to select a date and a time. You can also set recurring reminders by selecting "Schedule Recurrence".
  • Under 'Repeat,' choose when you want the reminder to recur from the drop-down options: none, daily, weekly, monthly, or custom. When you select 'custom,' you will need to choose the days on which you want the reminder to be posted.
  • If you want to assign the reminder to others, click the @mentions icon to mention a user by username or mail ID.
  • Once you have filled in the information for the reminder, Click Set, and a reminder will be created.
  • You can also view the completed reminders, switch between classic and compact view, and filter out the reminders from the options available at the bottom.
When you create a reminder, you'll receive a Taz notification when the reminder is overdue, along with the following options:
  • Mark as Complete
  • Mark all recurrences complete (if it's a recurring reminder)
  • Snooze for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day
In the reminders list, any recurring reminder will display a recurrence symbol, and only the latest due date will be shown. You can mark a single occurrence of a reminder or mark all recurrences as complete from this list or you can delete a reminder.
When you create a reminder for a channel or chat, you will receive the reminder message in the channel.
  1. Set a reminder using the Quick Action icon (plus button)

  • Click the Quick Actions icon (plus button) in the header next to the search bar.
  • In the drop-down list that appears, select Set a Reminder.
  • Create Reminder dialog appears. You may enter the reminder content, set the date and time, @mention users, and click Set.
  • A banner message that says "A new reminder set is added to list" will appear.
  1. Set a reminder through Actions

  • Click on Actions at the top-right of the chat window and select Set a Reminder.
  • Create Reminder dialog appears. You may enter the Reminder content, set the date and time, @mention users, and click Set.
  1. Set a reminder using Message actions

  • Hover over the message you want to set a reminder for and click the kebab icon (3 dots).
  • In the drop-down that appears, select Set Reminder.
  • A dialog will appear where you can enter the content, choose the date and time, type, and click Create.
  1. Set a reminder using slash command

  • Use /remind command to create a reminder from any chat window.
  • To create a reminder command, use the following format: /remind @user (reminder content) at (time). For Eg. /remind @Scott to send the marketing stats at 3 pm today.
  • Type the format in the text-box and click Enter.
  • Creating a reminder through the command will not post the reminder in that chat. It will be visible only to you.
Notes
Note:
You can add up to 10 members to a reminder. If the number of members exceeds 10, a banner message will appear that indicates, "Oops, you can't add more than 10 members."

Is there a way to set recurring reminders (like daily/monthly/weekly etc.)? It would be really helpful!

Hi Shrikant and Katie,
The recurring reminders feature is not yet live for users, but we can provide beta access to you. Please send an email to support@zohocliq.com with the list of email IDs for which we will need to enable this feature.
