How to configure desktop notifications in Cliq?

To configure desktop notifications, perform the following actions:
  1. Click your Contact image in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Profile & Settings from the user panel that appears.

  1. Select Notifications on the left sidebar of the screen that appears. and select Desktop. Tick the boxes you want to receive desktop notifications for.

 

You will get notified of new messages, in the following scenarios:
  1. One - One Chats - Notifications will be sent when a cliq user sends you 1-1 messages.
  2. Mentions - Notifications will be sent when you are @mentioned.
  3. Group Chats & Channels - Notifications will be sent when you receive messages from group chats or channel.
  4. Bot Messages - Bot will send you notifications.
  5. My contact's status becomes Available or Busy - When a contact's status changes to Web Available or Web Busy, you'll get a message in your browser indicating they're Available or Busy.
You can also select to see the preview in your notifications, which includes sender data and a preview of the message content.
 
Note:
  • If you don't receive desktop notifications after enabling them in Cliq, check your browser settings to see if notifications are enabled.
