Busylights are external LED devices that you can connect and sync your status with Zoho Cliq status The lights displayed on this device will change depending on your Cliq status. This device not only detects your status activity on Cliq but also across all Zoho apps.
Busylight devices are supported on Chromium-based browsers.
For desktop users, the feature will be available starting from version 1.7.6.
How to connect your Busylight with Zoho Cliq
Note: You'll have to enable the following admin policy in the admin panel to connect your busylight device with Zoho Cliq.
Plug in your Busylight device to your laptop or desktop.
Open Zoho Cliq, go to Profile & Settings > Status > Peripherals.
Enable the toggle for Busylight devices.
A prompt will appear on your screen to connect the device.
Once connected, your status will automatically sync with the light indicator.
Note: The prompt to connect the device will appear only during the initial setup. After that, the device will connect to the system automatically.
What each color means
🟢 Green (Available):
When your status is set to 'Available,' the busylight shows green, letting your colleagues know you are ready to collaborate.
🔴 Red (Busy / DND / In a Meeting or Call):
Whenever your status is set to 'Busy,' 'Do Not Disturb,' or you're engaged in activities such as calls, meetings, or live events in Zoho Cliq or other Zoho applications, the Busylight displays red. This helps inform your colleagues that you're currently occupied and not available for collaboration.
🟠Yellowish Orange (Break / Lunch):
Whenever your status is set to 'Out for Break' or 'Lunch', or have been idle the Busylight will display the color yellowish orange, helping your teammates understand that you'll be back shortly.
⚪ No color (Invisible / Offline):
Whenever your status is set to Invisible, the Busylight will remain off and will not display any color, indicating to your teammates that you’re offline and unavailable.
