The availability and presence of a user is indicated by their Cliq statuses. The user has the option of using the standard default status or customize the status to fit the situation.

To change the status:

  1. In the top right corner of the screen, click on your contact image.
  2. Select a status from the status icon or status text drop-down menu.
  3. You may also personalize your status by typing it in the status text option box.

Set your status as Busy when you need to concentrate and keep focused on your work. You will not receive any notification sounds.

  1. Invisible

Use the Invisible status when you want to be offline and do not want others to know that you are available. You will receive notifications and calls, but your status will appear as Offline to others.

  1. Do not disturb

You can set your status to Do not disturb if you do not wish to collaborate with others. You will not receive any notifications or calls. You can also configure DND in Cliq.

  • Available for Collaboration
  • Engaged at work
  • Meal break for 60 mins
  • Short Break for 15/30/45/60 mins
  • Do not disturb for 15/30/45/60 mins

Cases based on admin configuration:

Admins can restrict statuses for organization users as "Always allow""Only when checked in/out" and "Never allow".

Case 1: Admin allows status always:

When the admin has selected "Always Allow" for a specific status:

  • Users can freely enable this status whenever they need to, without any restrictions.

Case 2: User preference overridden by admin:

If a user has preferred a particular status during check-in/out, but the admin has either disabled it or chosen "Never Allow,"
  • When a particular status is disabled by an admin and the user has selected it as a preference or as the status, A pop-up will prompt them to select a different status allowed by the admin.
  • When the user attempts to check in, a pop-up will prompt them to select a different allowed status. Their preference is overridden to comply with admin policies.
  • When the user attempts to select preference for check-in or check-out, the disabled status will be provided with a lock icon, and the user will not be able to select it.

Case 3: Admin never allows status:

When the admin has selected "Never Allow" for a particular status,

  • This status will not be displayed as an option for users, ensuring that it remains inaccessible.

Case 4: Unified status or quick status disabled by admin:

When the admin has disabled either the unified status or quick status features,

  • Users will lose the ability to see the quick status on the remote work page or set unified status under Profiles & Settings.

Case 5: Admin has disabled "Allowed to modify" for unified status:

  • If admin has disabled "Allowed to modify" for unified status, then while performing an activity, the user will not be able to update the activity status to some other status.
