Creating and managing a personal dashboard

What is a personal dashboard?

Alongside the community dashboard that consolidates events and updates for everyone, each member can create their own personal dashboard. Personal dashboards let individuals curate the widgets and information that interest them most. A member might use their dashboard to track specific spaces, follow a leaderboard or view upcoming tasks.

Create a personal dashboard

On your Home page, click the + icon in the top‑right corner.

In a new community, choose For Myself from +Create Dashboard.
Enter a name in the Name field for your personal dashboard.
Click Create to generate a new blank dashboard.
Click Build now to open the dashboard editor. At this point the dashboard contains no widgets.

Add and customize widgets

Drag and drop system and custom widgets onto your personal dashboard in the same way you would for a community dashboard.
Configure each widget’s properties, styles, and advanced settings to tailor the content to your interests.
Use the Settings tab to adjust full‑width view, background colors, font sizes and border radius to match your personal preferences.

You can rearrange or delete widgets at any time using the layout editor. The personal dashboard editor works in the same way as the community dashboard editor, giving you full control over design and content.

Save and manage your personal dashboard

Click Save in the top‑right corner to save and launch your personal dashboard, or Close to ignore the changes.
To edit or update the layout later, click the gear icon in the bottom‑right corner. From here, you can Update Info, Edit layout or Delete the dashboard entirely.

Personal dashboards empower community members to stay updated on what matters most to them. Encourage your members to create personal dashboards so they can tailor their experience.
