Importing events from external calendars

Overview  
You can import events from external calendar services into Zoho CommunitySpaces by uploading a CSV file. This makes it easy to bring existing schedules into your community without recreating events manually.

Who can import events  ?

Event import permissions depend on your role:
  • Super hosts and community hosts can import events into the community calendar.
  • Space admins can import events into their respective spaces.
  • Members can import events into their personal calendar.

 

Importing events  

To import events into Zoho CommunitySpaces:
  1. Go to Events from the left menu.



  2. Click the Import icon in the top-right corner.



  3. In the pop-out window, choose where you want to import the events.



  4. Click Pick file and upload the CSV file.



  5. Select the required event type and click Start Import.



  6. Map the fields from your CSV file to the corresponding Zoho CommunitySpaces event fields.



  7. Click Import .

NotesIf your CSV file contains recurring events, they will be imported as a series of individual one-time events.
