How to check insights for a post?

Post Insights helps you understand how people are engaging with your content. From views and reactions to engagement scores and sentiment, this feature gives you a clear picture of user behavior. Also, this helps you know what resonates with your audience, so you can refine your content strategy and improve community participation.

Who can check insights for a post?
Only the post author can view the insights of a post.

How to check insights for a post?  

  1. Go to the post you want to view insights for.
  2. Click the Analytics icon at the bottom-right corner of the post.



  3. A pop-up will open with detailed engagement insights.

 

What information will be available in Post Insights?  

Views & Reactions
  • Total views- Total number of times your post has been viewed, including unique views (each user is counted once).
  • Post Reactions- All emoji reactions are displayed with counts, so you can quickly gauge the mood of your audience.
  • Total Comments- Shows the total number of comments and replies.


Engagement Metrics  

  • Engagement score- A calculated score based on combined user interactions (views, comments, reactions).
  • Sentiment meter- Categorizes audience response as Positive, Negative, or Neutral.

 

Audience Engagement  

  • Breaks down interactions by categories such as designation, department, skills, and more.
  • You can add custom fields to capture data relevant to your community needs (e.g., region, membership type).

 

Engagement Graph  

  • A timeline view showing how engagement trends evolved after the post was published.
  • Helpful for identifying peak activity times.

 

How to download the insights of a post?  

  1. Open the Post Insights pop-up.
  2. Click the Export button in the top-right corner.



  3. Click View Fields in the export pop-up.



    Choose the details you'd like to export.



  4. Select your download option and click Export.

You'll be sent an in-product notification once the export file is ready.
