Overview 
Hold video calls with your community members by using the conferencing option in Zoho CommunitySpaces. Whether it's a webinar or announcement, you can stream directly to all or selected members using the video conference option.

Who can conduct a video conference?

Depending on the video conference settings, either only hosts, superhost, or everyone can conduct a video conference.
To select who can conduct a video conference, 
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Modules under Policies.



  3. Scroll down and choose your preference.

Only superhost and hosts can review this settings.

How do I start a video conference?  

  1. Click the video icon in the right menu.



  2. In the pop-up, add a title and select the participants you'd like to invite.



  3. Click Start Conference. Users will be notified about the conference. Check the box below Invite people section to record the conference.



    To schedule the conference, click the dropdown icon near Start Conference and Select Schedule.



    Choose the date and time when you'd like to conduct the event.
InfoIf the conference is scheduled for the future, a feed post and email with the conference details will be shared to the participants.


How do I join a conference?  

There are five ways to join a video conference:
  1. Once a conference starts, you'll receive a prompt with the Join button in your Zoho CommunitySpaces window.



  2. You can also join the conference from the post shared on My Feeds page.
  3. You can click and join the conference from the notification you'll receive once the conference starts.


  4. You'll receive an email invite for the session,  click Join Video Conference to join.



  5. You can also join by clicking the live indicator option in the top of the left menu.


 

Available options  

Once the conference has started, you can do the following actions:
  • Turn the camera and audio on or off.
  • Share your screen with the participants
  • Record the session for users to view it once the session ends.
  • Choose between different layout options.
  • Minimize your call window.
  • The host of the conference can add members to an ongoing conference using the Invite Users option on the right.
  • The host of the conference can also remove a participant.

 

How do I view conference recording?  

  1. Go to the conference post in the My Feed page.



  2. Click Watch Recording to view the available recordings.

You can view recordings only when the conference's host enables the view recordings option while creating the session.

Notes

Superhost and hosts can edit and delete the recordings using Manage recordings option.

 

How do I delete a conference?  

  1. Go to the post that has the conference details.
  2. Click the ellipsis [...] icon in the top-right corner of the post.



  3. Click Delete in the dropdown menu and confirm deletion in the next pop-up.
