Using insights and administration in Feeds

Post Insights

Post Insights helps the post author and community hosts understand engagement for each post. It is available through the analytics icon on the post container.

Choose the desired date range to view the insights.

The Overall Activity widget shows total views by unique users. Post Reactions shows all reactions, including likes and other emoji responses. Total Comments shows the total number of comments, including replies.

The engagement score is based on total interactions with the post, including clicks on the post, usernames, comments, reactions, and follows.

The Sentiment meter analyzes reactions and comments to determine whether user sentiment is positive, neutral, or negative.

Under Audience Engagement, you can filter and view how members from different segments have interacted with this post.

The engagement graph shows post activity over time.

To download the insights, click Export in the top-right corner of the Post Insights view.

You will receive a push notification when the export is ready so you can complete the download.

Space Insights

Click the three dot menu next to the Community Wall name and choose Space Insights.

In Moderation, use toggle to enable/disable it.

You can choose approval for new posts and comments before they go live, as well choose Moderators and add Whitelisted users who can bypass moderation.

Hosts are moderators by default, and you can assign any member as a moderator.

In Apps, you can enable or disable apps such as Manuals, Events, and Web Tabs, and organize their order using the three dash option. From here, you can also choose to post manual/event-related activities on the feed wall.

In Notifications, you can choose how members receive notifications from the Community Wall.

In Developer Info, you can review technical details such as Scope and Partition IDs.

 Invite and export members

Use Invite Members from the Community Wall three-dot menu to invite new members and hosts either individually or in bulk.

In the same menu, you can also manage
pending invites, track who has not joined yet, and resend or delete invitations.

Use Export Members if you need a downloadable list of community users. You can export:

  • A .CSV file without a password

  • A .ZIP file with a password for additional security

You will receive a push notification once the export is complete so you can finish the download.

Community Wall notification preferences

Use Notification Preferences to personalize how you receive Community Wall updates.

You can enable Show in My Feed to display Community Wall posts directly in your feed. You can also choose whether to receive push, email, or both for:

  • New posts such as conversations, questions, polls, and events

  • Comments on those posts

At the very bottom of the left navigation panel, you’ll also find New Space, available to superhosts, hosts, and members with the appropriate permissions.

This makes it easy to move from everyday feed engagement into creating dedicated spaces for focused collaboration and discussions as your community grows.
