Viewing post summary for long posts

Overview  
Long posts are often packed with valuable information, but reading through them takes time. The Post Summary feature uses AI to summarize lengthy posts automatically, giving you a quick and clear version of the key points.

Who can view post summaries?  

Anyone in the community can view a post summary for the post with more than 500 characters.
This applies to posts across:
  • Conversations
  • Forums
  • Ideas
  • Questions
  • Announcements

How to view a Post Summary  

  1. Open the post you'd like to summarize.



  2. Click Show Summary located just below the post header to view the AI-generated summary.



To hide the summary, simply click Hide Summary.

For Forum posts:  

  1. Go to Forums.



  2. In the Recent Forum Posts page, go to the post you want to view the summary for.
  3. Click the Summary icon next to the thumbs-up button.



  4. The summary will be shown instantly in a scrollable view.


Notes
It may take a few seconds for the summary to load, especially for longer posts, as our AI works to extract the key points for you.
