Exploring the Forums module
Overview
Forums in Zoho CommunitySpaces are designed for long-form content, such as newsletters, knowledge-style posts, and structured discussions. Unlike quick feed posts, forum posts are meant for deeper reading and more organized browsing.
Access the Forums module
Click Forums in the left apps menu to open the module and locate its sections in the left navigation panel.
Forum Dashboard
The Forum Dashboard gives you a bird’s-eye view of recent activity across the community. It includes sections such as:
- Top Posts
- Recent Forum Posts
- Recent Comments
- Most Reacted Posts
- Top Authors
- Most Followed Categories
Most of these sections are based on activity from the last seven days, while sections such as Most Followed Categories and Recent Comments provide an overall view.
Browse recent and relevant forum posts
Use Recent Forum Posts to view all forum posts published across the community, sorted by default with the most recent first.
From this list, you can:
- Click Show Summary to quickly understand what a post is about without opening it fully
- Click a post to open it in a partially collapsed view for quick engagement
- Use the left and right arrows to navigate between posts
- Click Expand in the top-right corner for a more focused full view
Use Interested Topics to discover forum content that is most relevant to you, along with the pinned posts.
This section shows posts from categories you follow, from auto-follow categories set by the host, from members you follow, and posts made by you.
