Introduction to Forums

Overview  

Forums is your go-to space for meaningful, community-wide conversations in long form. It's where members come together to start discussions, share opinions, ask questions, and exchange insights and ideas. Whether you're posting feedback, a weekly blog, a business article, a community update, or simply sharing a personal thought, Forums gives everyone a voice. To keep everything organized, you can create categories so you can group similar posts together, making it easier for members to find and follow the topics they care about the most.

 

Who can create Forum posts?  

Based on the host's preference, everyone, specific people, only hosts, and specific roles can create forum posts.
Notes
You can access Forums only when hosts or super host enable it from community Settings.

 

How to enable Forums for your community  

Hosts and super host can choose to enable/disable the Forums module, depending on the community’s needs.
To enable Forums,
  1. Click the gear icon from the right-side menu.



  2. From the dropdown, select Settings.
  3. Under Apps and Features, click Manage Apps.



  4. Find Forums in the list of apps and toggle the switch next to it.



  5. Choose the landing page for your Forums page.



InfoOnce enabled, members can start creating and replying to forum posts.
