Overview
This policy in Zoho CommunitySpaces allows community hosts to control how members upload, share, and download files within the community. These settings help maintain secure file sharing and ensure compliance with your organization’s data policies.
Who can manage this policy?
Only Superhosts and community hosts can view and configure file upload and download policies.
Accessing the file upload and download policy
Click the gear icon from the right menu.
Select
Settings from the dropdown.

Under
Policies, choose
File upload and download policy.

Click
Expand to configure your file and attachment preferences.

Available settings
File upload type
Choose how files can be uploaded to the community. Uploads can be allowed from a computer or Whiteboard.
Allowed file formats for attachments
Define which file formats members are allowed to upload. You can permit or restrict formats based on your community's security requirements.
File upload limit
Set size limits for file uploads. You can configure separate limits for video files and other file types.
Attachment download access
Control who can download attachments. Access can be granted to everyone, restricted to specific roles, limited to hosts, or disabled entirely.
