Overview
Zia, powered by ChatGPT, is your AI writing assistant in Zoho CommunitySpaces. It helps you create better posts by suggesting content, generating titles, checking grammar, predicting tone, rephrasing text, and more.

Who can access this feature?

All members in the community can use this feature once the community host enables it.

Who can enable Zia Writing Assistant in the community?

Only Superhost and hosts can enable/disable Zia Writing Assistant in the community.

Where can I use Zia?

You can use Zia in the following modules- Forums, Feeds, Spaces, Town Halls, and Manuals.

What can I do with Zia?

Upon integration, you can use Zia to,
  • Generate new content
  • Suggest titles
  • Change tone
  • Change length
  • Predict intent
  • Check grammar
  • Rephrase content


How to generate content using Zia?

  1. Click the Zia icon at the bottom-right of the rich text editor.



  2. Type your prompt in the text field and click Generate.



  3. If you're satisfied with the result, click Move to editor.



    You can also regenerate the content, change tone, or change length as many times as you want.

How to enhance existing content using Zia?

  1. Write your post and select the part you'd like to improve.
  2. Click the Zia icon in the editor.



  3. From the dropdown, choose the enhancement option you need (grammar check, rephrase, title suggestion, etc.).



  4. If you're satisfied with the result, click Replace.



    You can also regenerate the content, change tone, and change length as many times as you want. When satisfied with the content, you can either replace or append it in the editor.

 

How to enable Zia in Zoho CommunitySpaces

  1. Go to Settings from the right-side menu.



  2. Under Zia, click Writing Assistant.



  3. Use the toggle to enable the feature.

 

How to configure API keys from your ChatGPT account

Notes
You must enable Zia before adding the API key.
  1. Go to the Zia in Settings.
  2. Under Configure, click Add API key.



  3. In the pop-up, select Create a new API key.
  4. Paste the API key copied from your ChatGPT account.



  5. Click Save.
 

How to get an API key from your ChatGPT account

  1. Click the Get your API key link next to the text field or go to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys.
  2. Copy the API keys if you've configured it already.

    InfoAlso, ensure that you've not restricted the GPT-4o-mini model in the project settings.
    If you haven't configured it, go to the OpenAI API keys page and click Create new Secret Key.

  3. Name your project and select or create a project.
  4. If choosing Restricted permissions, enable Read permission for Models and Write permission for Model Capabilities.



  5. Click Create secret key.
Notes
Zia will not work if your key has Read only permission.

Using an existing key from other Zoho services

  1. Go to the Zia in Settings.
  2. Under Configure, click Add API key.



  3. In the pop-up, select a linked Zoho account where you already integrated the ChatGPT API.



  4. Click Continue.


What happens after configuration?

Once Zia is enabled and the API key is added, the Zia icon will appear in the bottom-right corner of the text editor for all community users.
 

How to disable Zia?

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Writing Assistant under Zia.
  3. Tap the toggle button to disable the Writing Assistance.
