Vertical Solutions allows the subscribers to configure email accounts such as Zoho Mail, Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and others, in their Solutions account, and be able to send, receive emails and do much more right from their solution account.
Configuring email accounts within a solution is facilitated using popular email protocols which enable the exchange of emails between the servers and email clients in a standard manner. You can configure your business email account within Vertical Solutions using IMAP or POP.
IMAP or Internet Message Access Protocol, is a widely used email protocol to sync the emails that are present in the mailbox server with the email clients. This two-way protocol also allows synchronization of emails among multiple devices while the emails are stored on the server.
POP or Post Office Protocol, is one of the popular protocols where email clients download the emails from the server. This is primarily a one-way protocol and does not sync back the emails to the server.
