Check eligibility for domain transfer

Before you start the transfer process, make sure your domain meets the following criteria:

• The domain is at least 60 days old.
• The domain is not locked or on hold.
• There are no pending disputes involving the domain
• The domain's contact information should be reachable

Get the authorization code (EPP code)

To transfer your domain, you will need an authorization code, also known as an EPP code. Access the My Domains page under your Zoho Domains account. Click Send Auth Code in the domain management page. Once you generate the code, it will be emailed to the registrant contact's email address.

Unlock the domain

To transfer your domain, you need to unlock it. Click Unlock in the domain management page.

Your domain will be unlocked and ready to initiate transfer to your new registrar.
