Who receives the approval email once the transfer request is submitted?

After submission, the domain status will change to Transfer Status - Authorization Pending. If you retain the existing contact information, only the current account holder will receive an approval email. If the contact information is updated, both the current and new account owners will receive approval emails and both must approve the transfer.
