Privacy Consent
A cookie banner is essential for landing pages as it ensures compliance with legal regulations like GDPR and builds user trust through transparency about data usage. By linking to the privacy terms, the banner provides users with easy access to detailed information about how their data will be collected, used, and protected.
Adding a cookie banner
- In the landing page builder, click the Configure icon.
- Click Privacy Consent on the left side menu.
- Enter the text and URL for the terms that needs to displayed in the cookie bar. You can position the cookie bar at the top or bottom of the landing page.
Enabling cookie preferences
Managing cookie preferences helps users control their privacy by deciding which cookies to accept, reducing tracking and protecting their data. By allowing users to turn off non-essential cookies, businesses can foster greater trust and transparency, making users feel more secure in their online interactions.
- In the Privacy Consent window, toggle the Enable Cookie Preference feature to allow landing page users to manage their cookie preferences.
- In the published landing page, users can click on the Manage Preferences button to view the cookies used in the landing page. They can also choose whether they want to allow analytics cookies on the landing page or not.
